Specification of Rope Requirements: Projects Marine can provide full specification for all of your Running Rigging, Backstays, Runners, Checkstays, Furling Stays.

Winch Service: All winches either Racing, Standard, Hydraulic or  Electric are fully stripped, parts checked for wear and tear, re-lubricated and re assembled and tested. Only original parts provided by the manufacturer are used at all times. Electric Foot switches checked and tested. 

A full report is provided to the owner, along with suggested Interval times for future servicing, to ensure that the winches are kept in 100% perfect working order.

Winch Pedestal and Bevel Boxes: Pedestals are stripped and all bearings checked, Drive Belts are checked for wear, re assembled, lubricated and Belts re tensioned. Bevel Boxes and under deck mechanics are checked, re lubricated as necessary and re assembled.

Winch Foot Switch Controls: These are checked in situ, ball bearings and springs checked, parts replaced as necessary and then re tested.

Rope Clutches and Jammers: Clutches and Jammers have halyards removed, then flushed out prior to the Jaw surfaces and bases checked for signs of wear, also the suitability of the Jaws to deal with the line size being currently in use. Jammer runners are re lubricated, all units checked for ease of operation.

Steering Systems:  Steering Pedestals are checked for bearing and gear wear and any signs of corrosion. Pedestal brakes are checked and any worn parts in the system, replaced at the owners request. Steering Chains and Cables are checked for wear and all tensions checked and re tensioned as required. Aramid Steering cables are removed and checked, suggested that these be replaced annually. Quadrants and below deck sheaves and carriers are checked for wear and any signs of corrosion or elongation of the sheave pin area, all parts lubricated as required.

Deckhardware:    Mainsheet Cars, Jib Cars, Spin Pole Cars and tracks are checked for ease of operation, Torlon or Delrin ball bearings replaced if badly worn in the cars. All blocks are checked for wear to the sheaves or bearing cages and any faulty parts replaced upon consultation with the owner. If Loops are used on deck blocks, these are thoroughly checked for wear and replaced as per above.
